Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about how we work, what we build and what it costs. If your question isn’t here, ask the founders directly. You’ll get a reply from Parth or Umesh, not a sales team.
About AppPotter
Who we are, who we work with and what makes us different.
We help growing businesses fix the systems behind sales, operations and growth. We connect the tools you already use, automate the manual work between them and build custom web, mobile or enterprise software when those tools hit their limits.
A typical development company starts with what you want built. We start with the business problem behind the request: where leads, data or work get stuck and why. Sometimes the answer is connecting tools you already pay for. Sometimes it's automation. Sometimes it's custom software. You get the right fix rather than the biggest project, and the founders who scope the work stay involved in delivering it.
Growing businesses in India and abroad, usually with 20 to 200 people. Most come to us when their CRM, finance and operations tools no longer work together and the team fills the gaps by hand.
AppPotter as a company is new; the experience behind it isn't. Our founders bring 14+ years of hands-on engineering and delivery on enterprise and business-critical systems, and they personally lead every engagement. Some of our current client work is under NDA, so we can't name those clients publicly, but we're happy to walk you through relevant experience on a call. You also don't have to commit big to find out: most clients start with a free assessment, then a short discovery or a fixed-price first phase.
Our approach and what we build
How we decide between connecting, automating and building.
Usually not. If your CRM or accounting tool does its job well, we connect it to the rest of your systems instead of replacing it. We only recommend a change when a tool is the real cause of the problem.
We work with HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zapier, Make, n8n, Power Automate, WhatsApp Business API, Stripe, Razorpay, QuickBooks, Xero, Tally, Zendesk and many more. If a tool has an API, we can connect it.
Where it removes real manual work. That could be an agent that sorts incoming enquiries, drafts follow-ups or answers routine questions from your own documents. If a simple rule or integration does the job better, we'll tell you.
Yes. When standard tools can't do what your business needs, we design and build web, mobile and enterprise applications. Our core stack is .NET, Angular, React, React Native, Flutter, Azure and AWS, with SQL and NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Yes. We start with a review of the code, architecture and hosting so you know what's worth keeping. From there we can stabilize and maintain it, extend it, or modernize it in stages, for example moving an older .NET application or a Xamarin app to a current platform, without a risky big-bang rewrite.
Starting and pricing an engagement
What the first conversation looks like and how work is structured.
With a free 30-minute call. We look at how your systems work today and where they break down. If the scope needs more investigation, a short paid discovery follows. Otherwise, you get a written proposal within 2 to 3 working days.
A focused 30-minute conversation with a founder about how leads, data and work move through your systems today and where they break. You leave with an honest view of what's worth fixing first and what the next step should be, even if that step doesn't involve us. There's no obligation and no sales pitch.
Fixed scope for clearly defined projects, monthly or time-based work for evolving needs and dedicated engineering teams for long-term product work. We'll suggest the model that fits once we understand the work.
It depends on the scope, so we don't publish a rate card that would mislead you. What we can tell you is how pricing works: discovery is agreed upfront, clearly scoped projects are fixed price with milestone payments and dedicated teams run on a monthly retainer. You'll see a written price before any paid work begins.
Working together
Who you work with day to day and how collaboration runs.
Parth and Umesh, the founders. They scope the work, stay involved through delivery and remain your direct point of contact. There are no account managers in between.
We're based in Ahmedabad, India and work with clients in India and abroad. We agree on overlap hours for calls at the start and share progress in writing every day.
Yes. Through a dedicated team or embedded engineering capacity, our .NET, React, Angular and mobile engineers work inside your tools, your sprints and your standups. You can meet them before they start, and they learn your codebase on smaller tasks before taking on larger work.
Security, IP and support
Confidentiality, code ownership and life after launch.
Yes, we sign an NDA before you share anything sensitive. You own the code and IP, as set out in your contract.
We only request the access each task needs and agree any security or compliance requirements with you before work starts. Sensitive data stays in your systems wherever possible.
Yes. Warranty, support and maintenance terms are agreed in every contract and sized to the project. For long-running systems, we also offer annual maintenance contracts (AMC).
Bring Us the Problem. We’ll Tell You Honestly If We Fit.
Thirty minutes with a founder is usually enough to know whether connecting, automating or building is the right next step.
